What are some thing you can tell about a person with a simple glance, whether visual or hearing the them speak?
Education and morality
Whether or not I want to punch them in the face. Not that I would. There are just some faces, voices, and words that make me really want to punch people in the face.
Possibly region of country they live
If they are approachable
If they are classy
Body Language tells you a great deal
Confidence, hiding something, comfortable in their surroundings.
If they can't look you in the eyes... Hiding something..
I used to conduct job interviews amoung a lot of other things before I retired...
I'm good at guessing people political ideals. But it's not that hard here in California, 3/5 are democrats. So it's the 40% that give me trouble. But I can get it.
Height, weight, physical size if I can see them.
Shyness/social. Introverted/extroverted in social situations. Braggart/modest. Just from the first sentence.
If he or she is intoxicated.
If he/she is alive.
I am attracted to (not meaning sexually) well spoken individuals. I enjoy good conversation.
If they are kind.
I can usually tell if they're tired.
at a single (and maybe a spoken sentence), physical features (of course), I'm pretty good at identifying languages, broad type of work (hands, posture), ... quite a bit.
I can tell a lot. Everything we do provides clues. What we wear, how we talk, car we drive, body language. Humans are a fascinating species.
