Are there any other men out there who couldn't care less about watching sports on TV?
I don't. I think it's funny that the most out of shape people tend to be the most avid and opinionated sports fans. Get off the couch and go PLAY sports!!
That is too funny and so true! I look like a football player but have zero interest.
Playing basketball or softball with my kids is fun.
I completely agree!
I never watch sports on TV if I can help it. I love playing sports but watching em on TV, no thank you
*except the World Cup*
I only watch sports when there is someone else watching who is a fanatic, then I cheer for the other team! And then shout "cool a home run" when it should be a touchdown, or say wow that quarterback, he really can really pitch,
I basically just watch the Cowboys and the Super Bowl. No college football or other sports except Olympic gymnastics and figure skating.
I don't watch sports at all.
I dislike sports. Going to the games is fun, but on TV, so boring.
My husband doesn't watch sports. One more reason to love him. :)
Funny, my wife says the same thing!
I can watch, to be part off the herd, but I never do if it is my turn to pick. If there is nothing but sports on, there's nothing on.
My husband never watches sports. He just isn't interested.
I only watch the Denver Broncos and Indy car. Basketball has always bored me.
I used to be an avid F1 fan, and I usually follow the Olympics and World Cup but not much more than that.
Also used to watch boxing, but nowadays all the good stuff is PPV and I can't be bothered with that.
Ok, so I'm a woman. But I'll represent my dad and brother who couldn't care less. We never watched sports in my house. We're a pretty clueless family when it comes to sport. My mom probably knows the most.
Most sports, I don't care about. Especially watching on TV. I do like NASCAR, and watch my local college football team.
All my grandpa does is watch sports all day everyday
I am speaking for my husband and it is year round in this house.
Most sports seem like a huge time suck to keep up with anything. UFC doesn't require too much tho.
Oh I like UFC, can't say I watch all to often, but I love the reality of it.
Ya me too. Just watch whenever group gets together. It's easy to catch up on things.
My ex-husband used to play lots of sports, but didn't like watching them. I always thought that was interesting.
I played baseball and basketball, was too small to play football or I else would have, I just never had an interest in sports beyond that.
I answered for my SO.
There are a few. Some years ago my local paper (not here in CO, but MI) interviewed men-who-weren't-into-sports as a Super Bowl week feature. Including one of my biology profs, who happened to be primarily a botanist. They featured a photo of him
sniffing orchids in the college greenhouse. Made him look like a total wimp - which he wasn't. Continuing a stereotype, I guess.
Ya, Men are definately not weaker simply for not watching a bunch grown men running around getting paid millions to play children's games, but with worse attitudes than my 5 year old son.
It's an interesting phenomenon. Now that I think about it, I know *lots* of men who really don't care much for watching sports, including some of my old friends who get together for a giant outdoor Super Bowl party every year. (It's not all about
the game; for many of us, including me, it's about the friends and the food). Yet many of them *do* get caught up in it, even folks I'd still describe as hippies. And my son-in-law, who is one of the gentlest creatures on earth, is an avid fan.
Mmmmmmmmmm the food!
Rarely do I watch. I'll watch it if it's on at someone else's house.
I watch OU football, but could care less beyond that.
Boo! Guns up! But there gonna kick our ass tomorrow.
You never know in that game. It's one if those where anything can happen. OU sucks this year.
Yeah, but so does Tech. Usually Tech beats the teams that they should have no shot at beating a time or two each season. Don't even see that happening this year.

I don't either. But where I am from, it's a rarity.
same. I appreciate the skill and all, and I'll watch at the gym if there's a game on while I'm on the treadmill, but that's the extent of it.
Seems out of place this day and age, that a man doesn't follow sports.
I would agree. I don't trust someone who 1) can't admit to liking even one sport or team, 2) doesn't like cats and dogs, and 3) is an asshat!!
