A early vote is cast in the general election. Before Election Day the voter dies. Does his vote count?

The law on this in all states likely agree.
When you vote early you're actually only marking your ballot, electronic or paper. The ballot isn't submitted until Election Day.
If a voter dies before Election Day their ballot is removed.

With fifty states and fifty sets of laws, it would not be surprising to find differences on this. Some systems may have already commingled that early vote with others in a way that precludes identifying the specific ballot of the deceased.

Not aware if there are different laws in different states but the deceased's vote would not be valid in Indiana.
