I've been reading impotent lately. Got any book suggestions? (Post them in the comments + a minor synopsis)
Anything by H.P. Lovecraft.
Peyrefitte, special friendships. Be aware it harshly criticizes Catholicism and cherishes a (chaste) form of ephebophilia. Very romantic and tragic, vies Romeo and Juliet: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Les_amiti%C3%A9s_particuli%C3%A8res
I haven't really read any fiction lately. I'm currently reading Undeniable by Bill Nye, which is really good.
Mine for others (to begin this) is the books of Gary Jennings. They are vividly detailed historical novels that Jennings himseld spent years researching. He actually spent three years in the Balkans on 'Raptor'.
Warning: He is vividly detailed in sex as well as violence, too. These books put fifty shades to shame and are not suited for younger readers.
Aztec-The story of a young Mexica named Mixtli as he comes of age during the reign of Moctezoma II.
Raptor-Coming of Age story of an Ostrogoth intersex warrior named Thorn during the fall of the Roman Empire.
