Do any of y'all know why after 101 votes on a poll, the poll just automatically closes?

I understand tonys trying to make money but I'd rather have adds then have to pay $25 to see what more people feel like.

You pay to upgrade for more votes etc. Non paying ppl cut off at a certain point.

The actual limit on polls is 100 votes unless you pay to upgrade.

If you pay $25, you can be a Power User and get 500 votes.

Go through the blog to read about this change. If I remember correctly, this was put in place within the last 18 months.

cpaswr is correct. There are some features of the app that are free to every user (& which Tony has promised will remain free) & a 100-vote cap is one of them. Some other features are also available to subscribers, like expanded weekly "I agree with"

group statistics, and additional poll demographic poll filters for all polls with 200+ votes (so you can see breakdowns of poll results by religion, race, education level, etc).

Note that the $25 (for a Power subscription) is a *yearly* fee. There

are 2 higher levels, Pro for $100/yr (vote cap 2,500) and Enterprise for $1,000/yr (unlimited votes) for the insanely avid user, benefactor, or, I suppose, companies.

All user polls close after 3 days, whether they've reached the vote cap or not.
