Is Net Neutrality proof that the Republican Party, at least, are partisan and a few of the followers don't fully think things through, or are they just afraid to have Ted Cruz look bad/admit that a republican was working for a Comcast donation?

I think some are partisan, some truly believe the free market will find the solution

interest groups. It doesn't have to be for nefarious purposes, but interest groups can be so powerful that it's only prudent for a politician to pick certain interest groups to side with the plurality of the time. This happens regardless of party.

Also to republicans I'm not talking about all of you, I'm talking about the people who are fighting tooth and nail to try and claim we need net neutrality.
