Do you know how to start a fire without using matches?
At least half a dozen different ways that I'm very comfortable with. My favorite is steel wool and a 9v radio battery.
Just use a lighter. P.S. Did you know that the lighter was invented before the matches?
I started a fire with flint and steel the other night just to make sure I could still do it.
Bic lighter. Duh.
A magnifying glass
A spark starter (BBQ grill or stove top)
Yes. I was a Boy Scout.
I use a Billy Joel CD to reflect the sun...then I say "Well Mr. Joel, It appears we did start this fire."
In theory, yes, however, I've never tried it. I should sometime, might be good experience.
Use my glasses.
I've done flint/steel, bow drill, lens, battery/steel wool, push stick (this was really hard), magnesium and flint, and hand drill, which is really hard on the hands (bloodied up my hands pretty good). All, just to see how it's done.
In theory yes. Never tried though. Or I could say "with a lighter". HaHa
I've started fires on a sunny day with binoculars, just keep them focused, you need to hold very still and paper or tinder will ignite.
those things are like bic lighters...your always losing them.
I can do flint and steel, and 9v and steel wool.
Yes. Use a lighter.
A loophole! :D
Why yes, yes I do.
Rub two (2) Boy Scouts together?
Yes but doubt I would be successful;)
I know how but have never tried it.
