We have many uncontacted tribes who have lived without our contact for millions of years. A group of oil/gas companies now plan to completely flood them from their land in Peru. Should the American oil company be legally charged in the US?
MILLIONS of years ? Get real.
We were once in those uncontacted tribes. :/
Our "homo" species came a long 2.5 million years ago but tribal tendencies were in many of our ancestors as well. Many animals form a tribe of their own. These people are also humans who developed from the same thing we did.
I was referring to homo sapiens, been around for about 120,000 years.
Well it guess it depends on perception. I see them as people too :/.
There's actually a lost tribe they found with very stunted growth and they showed a possible branch off of one of our homos after their tribe migrated.
The Negritos. They're genetically closer to everyone except Africans, but they share the gene for darker skin.
I closed it though to avoid flack for the homosapiens etc.
Yes these tribes are aggressive and no they don't want to interact with the technologized world. They've been known to throw spears at aircraft and attack people not from their allied tribes in Brazil and especially in India. However it's there land.
Actually wait a second... This story sounds very familiar. There's settlers on the land, we want it, and the people there do not want us there....
Manifest Destiny 2.0? :/
I suspect you are playing crooked games. I don't mean to offend you, but is this another analogy for something else?
> There an uncontacted tribe.
> They live on a big oil/gas reserve.
When they (Shell gasoline) found this gas reserve and made contact with this tribe, it killed many of them out from our diseases. Sound familiar?
