Governor-Elect Greg Abbott said that if an Open Carry bill came to his desk, he would sign it without hesitation. Do you support the Open Carry of handguns? (Please share to give others the opportunity to follow).

A don't really care one way or the other. Personally if I did carry I would prefer to do so concealed.

I personally support open carry, but even if it passed here, I would still conceal carry...I think there is something to be said for the element of surprise when it comes to being in a life or death situation with a criminal

With Patrick as Lt. Governor, it's a good bet.

Concealing in a Texas summer sucks, open carry will make it much easier and faster.

Yes. I understand why some have reservations about concealed carry, and why we therefore license it to appease them, but I've never understood the argument against open carry, or why some states don't have it.

We have open carry here. The only rules are you need to be 18 for a rifle and 21 for a pistol. We're pretty lax on gun laws in NH. We just don't find them scary. ;)

If you are going to open carry you should use a lol 2 or 3 holster. I think I should be able to carry anywhere law enforcement can until I show them a reason I shouldn't.

Open carry should be up to the person. I sure as shit dont want to advertise that I'm carrying. I know if I was about to commit a violent crime thats the first guy I'd target. I'd rather a guy think "he's not going anywhere fast, I'll shoot him last"

Guns are different from cars or houses because they can be used against a tyrannical government like Nazi Germany or Cambodia under Pol Pot or North Korea or communist China.
