Rock or country?
Anybody here like classical music??
Country music is awesome!
August burns red and white chapel baby!
@gorden24ma if u think rock is new then ur old the new music is pop crap that pops eardrums
Country for sure
Country is the best especially She Thinks My Tractors Sexy by Kenny Chesney
Country all the way man, the new stuff sucks
I hate country music...it sucks dick
I like both, but I like rock more. I'm more of a trance/progressive guy.
Let's not forget the 1st Ted Nugent album.
ROCK N ROLL!
"new" country = twangy pop
I prefer rock. I'm not a country fan but I don't have anything against it. But I think we can all agree with one thing. Rap fucking sucks. It's a bunch of untalented ignorant people talking about how rich or how much sex they have.
Agreed herm- older country is sooo much better.
I love both. Older country though, I hate that new shit
Only country music I like is Johnny Cash.
country is wayyyyy better
When Marty McFly turned up his speakers, turned the volume all the way up, strummed his guitar, and blasted himself into the wall, did he say,"country"? No!!! He got up and his first words after that were, "rock and roll!"
@Gunny, my dad (RIP, 1990) loved bluegrass (and c/w...he was a big Tammy Wynette fan) and was a bourbon man ;)! I did enjoy when he put on the bluegrass (he loved Doug Kershaw...that guy can really play a fiddle) but I never acquired his taste for country or bourbon ;)!
i can play all of their songs
THREE DAYS GRACE!!!
I like to get a few shots of Franklin County Virginia moonshine and listen to some Steve Earle and bluegrass. Try it sometime you'll be a convert!
Ac dc forever!!!!!!! That and guns n roses.
Yeah, @GunnySGT!!! You da MAN, my friend!! I want to party with you, Mrs Gunny, your sweet dog and all the other "critters"! Love all the bands you listed! Fave Zep song: "Out on the Tiles". Bass line is ridiculously awesome! Also love "Ten Years Gone".
In olden times (and in Catholic schools even up until about 30-40 years ago), being a lefty was the sign of the devil so kids were forced to use their right hand and were harshly punished if they couldn't (evil nuns!) Good luck on the paper...fun topic!
@Smile, I'm right hand dominant. You should include research about ambidexterity (can use either hand). My aunt and uncle discovered when my cousin was 14 that he is purely ambidextrous, meaning that his handwriting is exactly the same whether using his left or right hand.
@Matches, how funny...me too (two people from NY/NJ who like bluegrass ;))! Agree that to play bluegrass requires serious talent...country is just twangy, whiny noise that all sounds the same to me (as does gangsta rap) unless it's like Uncle Cracker/Kid Rock country/rock hybrid or rockabilly.
I WANNA ROCK!! Play Freebird!!
Can't stand country... I honestly can't even Tell the difference between singers lol. It all sounds the same to me
Rock & roll all day long above every other genre of music. I don't really care for country
@babbler, babble babble babble.
beauty influences everyone you meet. athletic ability needs to be demonstrated first.
Holybabble your idiot comments are getting really old. You need happiness in your life. You and navyvet.
modern country is just pop rock with conservative lyrics and southern accents. I'm a huge fan of old country music. but rock n roll is everything to me
nigahiga totally rocks. check out his channel on youtube everybody I esp love daily life of rustin heiber
I hate country HEAVY METAL FOREVER!!
Alright, if you live in the south you have to at least respect country i think its weird that south Carolina isnt country
This is surprising, I really thought that most of the US loved country. I can't stand it, though somehow I love bluegrass... I guess it's because bluegrass requires a lot of instrumental skill, can't hide behind production and a pretty face
I love country music. Not really a fan of rock
@Holybabble: I agree! you have to respect country if your in the south
I grew up listening to country music. On the way to school, on when I went to bed... I now think it's terrible. Country music artists think of one pun or something and play it out for a whole song. Just doesn't appeal to me. I now prefer hip-hop/rap like Eminem. To each his own, I suppose, though..
74% of you are morons. This is sad.
I'm from Texas and I'm surprised Texas isn't country. I meet people all the time who love Country down here in the the south.
