I knew a lot of people and a lot of people knew me, but I wasn't in the popular (preps & jocks) crowd.

Popular doesn't necessarily mean jocks etc..

I was happy. The jocks tried to make fun of me or the preps tried to bully me. I just used my wit and turned it back on them. I was (and still am) a smart ass. I had a lot of friends. I just wasn't considered part of the popular crowd.

Makes you popular now though! That's the best kind of thing!

jmw7477 Indiana
11/09/14 10:53 am

I guess. I have connected with people on Facebook that remembered me for talking to them when most others wouldn't or for stepping in when they were getting bullied.

LeDerpityDerp We are not our failures

And I bet those bullies don't have a whole lot of true friends now.

I'm not sure. I haven't talked to any of them since high school.

I was a ghost. I hung out with kids out of school already so I didn't much care for the people in my grade. and vice versa.

11/08/14 11:40 pm

Haha yep! I followed a butt load for a while but it got really overwhelming so I cut down to the people that I either knew or that left an impression on me (usually kind or funny people). I'm just starting to come back a little.

Hey that works. I was thinking of basically doing the same thing but I felt bad honestly so I didn't hahaha

elusive Sactown
11/08/14 11:45 pm

I didn't feel bad until today actually. someone asked me why I stopped following them (apparently I was their first follower). didn't realize I had made enough of an impression for someone to be like "wtf elusive" haha.

Haha, awe! I did you end up following them again? :P

I would say I was in that top tier of popularity, but the 2nd tier. Everyone knew who I was, mostly everyone liked me, tons of friends.

Being funny & outgoing goes a long way.

I only had two other girls in my graduating class, so we really only had each other. The classes below us were bigger, but not by much. The school was new, and we were all building it together, so we felt like a family.

As a Junior and Senior I was a little, but not before that. I was socially awkward and had a hard time conversing with people. As a Junior/senior I became confident and my basketball skills sorta blossomed. Kids seemed to gravitate to me after that.
