A Green Party candidate is somehow elected President but the house is still controlled by Republicans and the Senate by Democrats. Does anything in Washington change?
It would still be dead lock
It would be another single mined POTUS like Obama we've had our dose of nuts.
The president can still control the military and other administrative things on the federal level, so some stuff would change.
Democrats already advocate for green issues. They're a party with no unique purpose.
That's untrue. If you look at the Green Party platform, they are a lot more extreme than the Democrats. They're also a lot less war-mongering.
They advocate for a lot for stuff than just environmental policy. It's pretty extreme stuff
Far more regulations and executive orders, if I had to guess.
Yes. Republicans and Democrats start actually cooperating because now they have a common enemy.
I guess that's one way to look at it.
Pot for everyone! Presidential order!
