A Green Party candidate is somehow elected President but the house is still controlled by Republicans and the Senate by Democrats. Does anything in Washington change?

The president can still control the military and other administrative things on the federal level, so some stuff would change.

Democrats already advocate for green issues. They're a party with no unique purpose.

That's untrue. If you look at the Green Party platform, they are a lot more extreme than the Democrats. They're also a lot less war-mongering.

They advocate for a lot for stuff than just environmental policy. It's pretty extreme stuff
