Do health department ratings displayed at restaurants impact your decision to eat there?

No, there restroom does. If they can't keep the restroom I can see clean, I have to wonder what the kitchen I can't see looks like. It's not full proof, but I use it as an indicator.

We don't have the letter grades here. I wish we did.

If I saw the ratings it may but usually just check Yelp.

I eat at a local B. Don't know and don't care. The food has always been good. I wouldn't venture below that. I honestly dont think I've seen a "C" hanging in a window.

If I'm in the restaurant, I'm pretty much going to eat there.

But are you going to enter in the first place if there is a "C" on the window? And a place with an "A" nearby?

I've been in the food industry and gotten health inspections. "C" basically means 'I C rat droppings in the food'

Don't they close C restaurants till they clean up?

Yes. If it's not an A, I won't eat there.

California. It must be displayed in the front window.
