Do you think rapists and molesters can actually love their victims the good/right way?
That is a rough question... I don't think you can say never, but they don't deserve that love.
No, it's about power and dominance, not love in the real sense of the word.
I don't believe so.
I'd say no.
Rapists definitely not, it's not about love but power and dominance. "Molesters", depends. They may be deluded but believe they truly love the child they molest, the harm is at least in some cases unintended. Doesn't go for father-daughter incest.
I agree with everything you said.
That makes sense. I can kinda understand where the people who voted yes are coming from now.
I voted yes. A personal experience- one day my uncle took me aside and said that was really sorry & he loves me a lot. I don't recall him touching me after that. I didn't want his love anyway, but I think he did love me enough to stop and apologize.
I voted no, the key phrase was "good/right way". Just because somebody thinks it's right doesn't make it right. However, it doesn't make him a monster either.
My good/right I mean like actual love (whatever that is)
I'd say it's alright if you feel comfortable with it. If you feel uneasy, it isn't. However, if you tell somebody you don't like the way he acts right away and he stops immediately, I think it's forgivable.
Oh I didn't mean for this to be a personal poll, just whether or not it's possible. :)
Well... your "personal experience" post kinda made it personal lol ;)
Aghh.. Well I closed it now
