IQwise I don't think that there is a difference. But lefties definitely have different parts of the brain more developed. Hence, we are different.
Vote early and vote ONE time.
Every lefty I know is fairly intelligent, so yah, I guess if I had to choose one, I'd say we have a higher iq.
Yes and better looking too.
I have family members who agree :)
Wow, thank you. Didn't know I knew your family members.
Clearly, left handed people have great senses of humor too!
I'm a lefty but I can use my right have pretty well.
Must be, I can't do shit with my left hand.
Lower because despite the historical evidence, Communism has never worked out for the better. But they keep trying.
WTF are you talking about
My gut feeling is that there should be no difference. My left-handed husband is brilliant, though.
And sensitive. Good combo.
I am a lefty and a righty. Does that make me extraordinary or bi?
Are you female?
I was born male.
Did you have one of those "operations"
No. I'm still male.
Yada yada yada
I am a lefty and although my people have been oppressed by righties for so long we have excelled and outsmarted the right handed people that worked so hard to keep us down for so long.
Reparations for lefties, NOW!
Think is a leftie, huh? I see you in a whole new light now, think. :)
So now you are going to give my genius the recognition it deserves? Lol.
I'm a lefty. And a former Mensa member.
I believe you're always a member of Mensa. Whether you're current on dues is another story, no?
No idea if there's any actual correlation, but my husband is left handed and has an IQ of 150 and is really intelligent, so I guessed high.
It's always an interesting topic.
Lefties are very special :)
And some are more special than others! ;o)
I'm the special-est!
I should have known, Kermie :)
Always been bias against lefties
Pro or con?
Against not for
Apparently there's essentially no difference, although I remember hearing for years that lefties were more likely to have a higher IQ. I know that in my high school which had 4 sections for each class, the section that was clearly for the "smarter"
kids (& took the equivalent of AP courses) never had enough left-handed desks. There were 5 for a class of 30, which is ample for the % of lefties in the general population. There were 7-8 lefties in that section. But that's just one anecdotal datum.
My Mother was forced to use her non-sinister hand during grade school but reverted back as quickly as she could!
I was fortunate, neither my schools nor my parents bought into that idea that you could just change something like that by forcing it. I think the concept was on its way out when I was a kid, although it seems to have persisted longer in some places.
There is a connection between being a leftie and being gay though, isn't there?
