Do you own a pickup truck? For the sake of the poll, SUV/CUV/AWD cars do not count as 'trucks.' Must have an open bed in the back.
Yes I own a dodge 3/4 ton 4x4 truck for hauling. But also an enclosed full sized truck aka SUV but it is on a truck chassis and has same towing capacity and weight carrying capacity as full sized truck so is technically a truck too.
A jeep, a chevy pick-up and my F250 Superduty,
We have driven Ford F-150s for years. I love the one we have now- white, 4x4, quad cab, no carpet, tool box. ..we can get it muddy, get it stuck, rinse it off and start over again?
I do own a trailer made from the bed of s pick-up though.
A 2000 GMC K2500 (old body style Sierra), standard cab, long bed, 4X4, one of the last of the 454s. It's my forever truck.
also exempt from this poll is the ugly little pickup wannabe thing made by honda. hell a Subaru brat is more of a pickup than that!
Sort of. My hubs drives the company pickup.
2013 Silverado 2500
Yep, Honda Ridgeline
Do El Caminos count?
Open bed = truck
If you are Rocking an El Camino you are in !!
Yep, I'm counting El Caminos, Rancheros, Brats, and Dodge Rampages. I used to drive a '70 ElCo, had to register it as a truck in Washington State.
2004 fiord ranger. 2.3 liter manual transmission.
I hate people who call SUVs trucks
Word. NOT TRUCKS! Giant stationwagons.
That's offensive to wagons. I don't like SUVs, but wagons are really missing on the U.S. market in my opinion.
I call mine a Land Rover ;)
Land Rover is pretty cool, I will give you that one.
I call mine a truck, I hate saying SUV
If it is a truck based SUV like a suburban I don't mind if it's called a truck. If someone's calling their Toyota Highlander or Ford Escape a truck they need help
@kwitt - I agree. My last vehicle was a Ford Expedition, it's more of a truck than a Ranger or S10.
Now I think you're mixing the categories. A truck is by definition a vehicle with a bed separated from the passenger cabin. The S10 or Ranger are smaller than a Silverado or F150, but they're still trucks. When the bed has been replaced by a cargo ..
..area inside the cabin you have a SUV. I have driven the Chevy Suburban and I know it feels like a truck but that's because it's based on the Silverado, the body is just different. The Ford Escape is based on a car and is therefore a crossover or ..
.. CUV. The Highlander falls in that category too. One odd case is the Ford Explorer which used to be a Ford F-150 based SUV, but was redesigned a few years ago to be a car based crossover.
My Armada is on the Titan base and it drives like a truck so that's what I'll call it.
This is a funny discussion. You can call it a truck, Squidboy calls it a giant station wagon and I will continue to call it a SUV :-)
Used to when I was young and apparently bad with money. Now I care a lot more about wasting money on gas. Plus trucks are incredibly inconvenient in the city. Wouldn't fit in my garage spot, either.
Nope. But I drive one everyday. It's sitting in my driveway, just belongs to my employer.
Traded in, bought a sedan. Need my GD head examined.
I see what you're doing here :)
6.5 Diesel Heavy 3/4ton 4x4 Extended Cab 8900#
Every house in my family besides one has a truck. Mine has two.
