Do you do most of your online shopping at Amazon, or elsewhere?

Best shipping rates to Alaska! You know I'm amazed that most other vendors don't/won't use the USPS. It's so much cheaper for everyone.

If Amazon doesn't have it, you don't need it!!!

Whoever has the best price for the product I want to buy.

Amazon has most everything I need. With 2 day shipping I don't need to go hunt for it in the store.

The place I look the most on Amazon is the Ebooks. I check out the daily deal daily. I am a sucker for free and cheap reads.

I like Amazon, but used to love them. That changed when they started collecting CA state tax

Because you want to support brick and mortar, or some other reason?

Everything I need is within a few miles or less. Plus, yes, I figure every dime I spend locally will come back to me ten-fold. People have jobs, tax base is increased, community flourishes. Also, I am not that picky and can budget my time wisely.

11/01/14 8:16 pm

I respect that whole-heartedly, good for you!

Yeah, probably the majority of my online shopping is there. It's the first place I look for a lot of stuff, always worth a price comparison.

Mostly Amazon. They just makes it too easy: low prices, easy returns and abundant product reviews on a vast selection of products.

I still do shop on other sites though. I don't want them to turn into a monopoly.

I shop first at amazon. If what I want isn't there I go to brick and mortar.

I love Amazon, and my Prime membership is worth every cent. In the last month, I purchased moisturizer, a bento box, sugar-free gummy candy for my mom, a physical therapy sock aid (also for my mom), mouthwash, books, and other stuff.

11/02/14 7:30 pm

Did you buy Haribo sugar free bears and a banana slicer too?

11/01/14 11:56 am

I love you amazon. You are amazing, and my life would be filled with more expensive goods without you.

eBay. Rarely Amazon because they rarely have as many bargains as eBay.

I have Amazon prime so "mostly" there. I still comparison shop for prices though and sometimes or some no name has better prices.

I don't use amazon because they don't take PayPal. If they did I'm sure i would use them much more

11/01/14 9:54 am

I support amazon with my pennies, but do more business with eBay. And just discovered for my order to arrive to see if they sell good quality or not, ie whether or not I will be a repeat customer.

Amazon is my main source but I do compare shop. They are not always the cheapest. I wait until I get to the free shipping dollar amount then order several things. Usually I get the order in a few days no need for Prime.

Zod Above Pugetropolis
11/01/14 9:03 am

Amazon isn't the only place I shop online, but it is probably where I do most of my shopping online. Even with the annual fee and the increased cost of Prime-eligible goods, the prepaid two-day shipping with Prime is a huge incentive.

Majority is via a co-op that I belong to. We order from several places, but mostly Azure Standard & Frontier. After that I order from Vitacost a good bit. Petco & Amazon would be next on the list.
