So our Federal Government is going to end our government stimulus program because our economy is doing well. Is this a good idea?
Shouldn't have started it in the first place.
The states have become too dependent on it. After years if gutting their funding base, the states are no longer able to do the work try need done.
Look at the Transportation network. The ROADS!
I disagree that the economy is doing well, but yes, the government can't stay involved forever and eventually will have to stop artificially propping up the economy.
There is no need to stimulate an economy where all of the indicators are good and the markets are hitting record highs.
Stocks are high: Good news for the upper class. New jobs are much lower paying. Graphs of the economy's health show the stimulus helped. When much of the stimulus ended long ago, the economy declined right after. For inadequate demand, stimulus helps
"ending" it and what they are going to "do" are two very different things I am certain.
Real unemployment rate is closer to 12 percent.
I'm sorry but if you haven't looked for a job in a month, you likely weren't looking too hard when you started.
Also there's a ton of jobs out there now.
But it's much easier to get Obamabuck from the public well.
Did the Obama Administration change the formula for calculating unemployment during his term? Or, is the administration just not using your preferred calculation?
Most of those on public assistance are children without homes or they work.
