Add-to-cart or 1-click-checkout?
Suprised to see no correlation with income
Procrastinator even when it comes down to online shopping.
Depends on if I plan to buy more than one thing from the same site.
Neither, I rarely ever shop online.
Depends on what I'm looking for, usually add to cart though.
Add to cart!
I want "one click" one step later - in the cart. Give me a "send to default card/address" button in the cart, either for individual items or for the whole thing.
Almost always add to cart & consolidate purchase. Almost always move stuff from cart &/or delete altogether so using cart functions as impulse-purchase control. 1-click for things I've been tracking awhile &/or need asap.
Except for eBooks; always 1-click but I've got a WishList from which I usually shop when price drops below certain $.
Cart is better for consumers, 1-click is better for sellers encouraging mindless spending.
cart except for books, want to double check that I ordered the correct item
DEATH TO ONE CLICK CHECKOUT!!!!
I always use the cart.
I hate things that work automatically.
I use 1-click for buying Kindle books, but for everything else I almost always use the cart. There are just too many times I want to use one of the other addresses, or use the alternate card to pay for it. Easier to manage with the cart.
I feel like too much can go wrong with 1 click check out if it's not in the cart
I often add to cart because I'll be buying more than one thing :)
This is what I came to say :)
The only exception to this is with Kindle books
Me too, on both counts!
Add to cart for most things, but I do use the 1 click option on Amazon now and then.
My buddy accidentally bought an inflatable couch while passing his tablet to a friend with one click. I'd trust myself more with the cart.
Even w/digital content on Amazon you are given option to rescind order if accidental purchase if you do it right away. Contact Amazon if you don't see option; it's easy to miss it if you aren't looking for it. They are GREAT about fixing stuff!
I guess my friend didn't know that! Just as good. Now I have a comfy place to crash at his place!
ONE CLICK OMG
Cart. For several reasons, I like to have an opportunity to re-think what I'm doing, either the details or the whole purchase. I'm OK with 1-click for Kindle purchases from a mobile device, although I resisted even that at first.
I agree, you said it better.
Usually I add to cart. Unless I'm buying one thing. Them one click. ;)
If i want to browse a bit, I don't want to be rushed. Shopping sould be a relaxing experience.
I like double checking my order, so I add to cart. :)
What if I want to buy more than one item? Definitely add to cart
I kinda like "Cart", for a couple reasons. First, and most obvious, I might wanna continue shoppin', and add other 'stuff'.
Second, I may decide on a different option than what's in "Cart", or against it altogether.
(But I add, more than I subtract!)
If you like your wish list, you can keep it.
"If I had a son, he would use Amazon Prime!"
You guys are so funny! Thank you for your silliness!
