Boston to NYC on the Chinatown bus. It was amazing (that I was able to get any sleep at all in that thing)

You never quite forget the smell of urine with a hint of vomit when you've been more than a hundred miles in a bus.

I've rarely heard of someone who's hopped it more than once.

From Rochester to Pittsburgh. I had to climb over people sleeping over two seats, Otherwise, it wasn't bad. All I know is, if I gotta do it again, I'm not going at 3am again. HELL no

How many people who answered yes to this question also answered that they were smarter than the average person?

I have never been in a greyhound. However, there are some really nice comfortable busses with soft bucket seats and all the other comforts

I take the Megabus! Seats as low as a dollar.

Several times in Mexico. Their charter buses are amazing down there. Plenty of elbow room. Recline very far back. Great AC. Better than anything I've taken in the US.

1963, Greyhound, Syracuse to Buffalo and back. I think 2nd-hand smoke addicted me for the next 50 years before I kicked the habit.

Private charter from California to Texas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Indiana, New York, Maryland to DC. Then straight to Wyoming then Salt Lake City where we picked up the Greyhound. Private busses were fantastic!

A charter from San Antonio to Biloxi, courtesy of the Air Force. I'd ridden the dog around the state too, mostly between Tacoma and Seattle, but those were probably under 100 miles. I don't remember taking the bus to Portland, but might have.

I don't know. Is Hartford to NYC 100+ miles? I guess.

There's a huge stigma about riding the bus here instead of flying/driving, (no idea why) so I haven't ever got the chance to.

I totaled my car a few hundred miles from home when I was 17. My egg donor told me if I wanted to get home, get on a bus. So, Greyhound it was. It wasn't that bad actually.

We went to Atlanta to the aquarium and it was about 4-5 hours. I hated it, and would rather have not went just to avoid the ride.

You haven't smelled BO until you've taken a 24 hour straight bus ride with a greyhound bus full of high schoolers.

Not "Greyhound" but did some travel by bus while in Mexico. Mexico City to Puebla (both ways twice) and Puebla to Vera Cruz and back.

Nope. But if time wasn't a factor and it was the cheapest option, I'd do it.
