Freedom is just a privilege in any case. You are only free as long as we say you are, no matter who you are.

Yes, but he could have worded it a bit less fancy: unless everybody is free, freedom is just a privilege.

Really, at first I thought: hmmm... extended, what, an extended privilege instead of a standard privilege? And enjoyed, is freedom not freedom if you don't enjoy it (yippee, I'm so happy). I had to analyze the phrase to get it right, IF I got it.
