Do you eat raw cookie dough?
Possibly better than a cooked cookie it's self.
*mom voice* you're gonna get salmonellAaAAaa
AMERICA... The home of raw cookie dough
Another question that Repubs and Dems can agree on!
Peace, love, and understanding!
Yes! And cake batter. And muffin batter. I love the raw better than the finished product. Its all about using very fresh, high quality eggs. Baking is such a divinely sensory experience, I love to bake and give things away.
Give some to me
Yes, I like to live my life dangerously. And I have to say, it would pretty epic to be taken out by cookie dough, of all things.
I'd rather have the cookie - warm from the oven!
It has raw egg in it.
I don't care if it has Ebola in it...IT'S DELICIOUS!!!!
If a government organization doesn't tell me to do something, I don't do it. It's dangerous to do things on your own
I really hope your trollin
On a regular basis, as the wording would suggest? No
Every so often? Yes
Not since the last time I made chocolate chip cookies, and my mom banned me from making cookies because my greedy self ate myself sick
Yes, I make my own without eggs. The wife loves it.
How can you help yourself?
Not since I got sick! 2 days puking. Uggggggh!
Not in a long time... It's hard to find a woman that is able to actually cook these days.
Nothing more attractive than a man that can't feed himself lol
I can feed myself just fine.
@aj, since Cowboy always gives his own comments a like, I'll give you one here!
Says the guy who isn't capable of making cookie dough without a woman to help lol
@gramps- thanks haha! I'm not sure why he does that.
Baking is more of a woman's thing.
I guess so, I mean you do have to be able to understand basic instructions. It must suck to not even know how to make cookies though.
I can just buy them.
Those don't taste as good and you still miss out on cookie dough :(
Just ate some last night. :)
Since I was old enough to get at it
Still waiting to get sick from it. 17 years going strong.
not as often as I would like.
32% of you are liars
I said "No", because I can't remember the last time I ate raw cookie dough (is "raw cookie dough" redundant?). And when I did, I only recall eating it in ice cream... :D
Yum! Of course it has to be chocolate chip cookie dough that I make from scratch.
I am weird with it. I put it in the oven while its preheating to bake the cookies so the chocolate chips are more melty and gooey chocolatey. Then I cook them for a minute or two less. The dough is also better warm instead of cold.
.... Yes I'm fat.
Maybe *shoves raw cookie dough in mouth* I mean me never.
Is that even a question?
Yep, for over 20 years. Pure deliciousness
OH HELL NO!
Salmonella be damned!!!
And how many people do you know that got salmonella from cookie dough?
None. Most of the cookie dough I make has eggs in it so there is a risk.
Actually the salmonella is on the outside shell of the egg, not on the yokes and whites, so the only way you are going to get sick is if you get some of the shell in the dough. The more you know.
I just bought two packages; they were on sale.
Only in ice cream
Certainly know I shouldn't, but still do most every batch.
A glorious experience. However, I no longer am able to as a result of my gluten sensitivity.
The best part about cookie dough is that you don't need gluten if you're not baking the cookies - you can make it with an other kind of flour. ;)
I will if I'm desperate and can't wait, but generally no. Cooked tastes way better, and I can usually wait another eight to ten minutes.
Oh hell naw I don't want none of that Eboli up in here!
Ebola from cookie dough?
Not right now because I'm on a diet, but otherwise YES! Love it. Can never make a habit, but as a treat...oh yeah!
Only if I haven't cooked it already
Have been since I was a child.
yup, in fact eating it with ice cream YEARS before it became commercial, fav is gingerbread
Salmonella concerns prevent me from doing so.
Makes total sense to me. I suppose dad's occupation (microbiologist / quality control manager) in the food industry rather put a damper on my childhood stomach aches from food poisoning.
If there's a salmonella outbreak, there would be recalls and it would be all over the news. How often do you hear about salmonella these days? You'll be fine.
Okay, sure, but someone has to be the first. That's how they know there's an outbreak.
Duh who doesn't?
Never seen the attraction...
Yes! And my son is doing a fundraiser with the giant tubs of dough...jackpot!
Duuuuuuude, those are sooooooo awesome!
