Inspired by ScottyDoesNo: Under the SOH profile, under religion, what is the difference between Atheist, Agnostic, and (No Choice)? Couldn't they all be considered homogenous?
Atheist and agnostic are not remotely similar, it is possible to be an agnostic theist; many people are. It is also possible to be an agnostic atheist, again, fairly common. And no choice could be anything from an apatheist to "rather not say".
Atheists feel certain that God isn't real; agnostics aren't sure.
Christians know Him personally. ✞
Wrong. Agnostic isn't actually a position, it's a modifier. For example, there are agnostic theists and agnostic atheists.
I was agnostic of that. :o)
Mine is no choice because I really don't want you to know
My what big arms you have!
They are not all the same thing. :)
Atheists do not believe in a deity y of any kind. Agnostics believe while there may be a deity we can't know and we cannot interact with one. And the third is for people who want to claim something but don't fit the other choices :)
Don't get all technical, FP! :). It was inspired by Scotty after all.
