Pastors should try to incorporate politics and current events into their sermons on a regular basis.

Maybe it's just me, but I think they should just stick mostly to the bible, but apply it to modern life without interjecting their own personal viewpoints and bias unless it's completely relevant.

The first amendment frees religion from government influence. You can leave a church you don't agree with. Demanding political correctness in religion is unconstitutional. If only Houston Mayor Parker understood that.

Every pastor can support any candidate they want. They should preach about Christ, loving God, and loving others.

I don't think that they should specifically try to do so, but politics has become a part of every facet of life so it's hard to avoid really.
