Fact: There are nearly 1.6 billion Muslims in the world. Fact: That's literally 5 Muslims for every American. Fact: If Islam as a whole were violent, there would be a shitload more dead Americans in the world.

So called "moderate Muslims" danced in the streets on 9-11. I agree, where is the outrage? Who are these apparents that supposedly appose the acts of the violent muslims? Even our own (questionably Muslim) president defends them in ways.

Religions cannot inherently be peaceful or violent. A book never killed anyone.
There are both violent and peaceful interpreters of every religion.

I keep hearing that it is a peaceful religion but I hear terrorism, wars and abuse made by muslims and Islamic countries all the time. And I don't see the "peaceful" muslims doing something about it.

Its followers in America, for the most part, seem to be very peaceful from whatI've seen. But the Qur'an contains some very unpeaceful verses and the early history of the Prophet and his conquests of cities was anything but peaceful.
