Ever taken the kinsey scale test? I've linked it for those who want to take it and post their score.
Dead center 3 as it's been my whole life. No surprise there.
Yay for 3s!
"test failed, either you're a prude or you're a unusual person" (ok I added the prude part)
I got a zero
Women score higher then men because same sex doesn't seem to bother them. Men will watch woman on woman but not men on men.
thay makes sense.
Three. Happy with it, it's a wide open world :)
thanks to those who shared my poll. <3
F. It failed to match me again. Apparently I am a very unusual person. That's quite helpful.
Yes, it is. I'm done taking it. :)
Me too. I always get that reault. I figure it just makes more sexually unique. :)
I feel the same way alynn. :)
I'm a 0. Bring on the men :-P
I'm a 1.
I'm a 3
Me too! *high five*
High five! :)
Same! *more high fives*
? for you all: Does your interest in either gender fluctuate? I've had years where I was totally into women, but not so much into men & vice versa. The 3 never actually changes though, just the strength of my preference at any given time. Thoughts?
I've felt the same exact way! It's funny that you say this because my husband and I were just talking about it. For the past six months I've been much more attracted to women. It definitely fluctuates.
It fluctuates with me too, and just depends who I'm around.
Yeah I tend to fluctuate as well. I usually find them more attractive than men but I notice when I'm closer to ovulating I find men sexier.
Fascinating and pretty cool. I'm very into studying psychology, human behavior, sex, sexuality, etc. & I feel like we bisexuals get overlooked in studies a lot, but yet we're an interesting breed if you think about it. People always want to figure
out why some people are gay, but bisexuality is actually a far more challenging phenomenon to figure out, IMO. I mean, I'm bi & even I don't understand it. Maybe it's too much of a confusing conundrum & that's why so few conduct studies on it.
I agree bisexuality does seem to be overlooked.
That would be wonderful. Maybe it would help with the stigma too. I'm so tired of hearing " you just want attention" " you're just confused" " wow you're greedy"
Too true. There us quite a stigma, probably partly because people don't understand it & so many assume it's a choice because you swing both ways too. Interestingly though, I've experienced more discrimination from lesbians than straights. Weird.
my favorite is "well you double your chance for a date Saturday night" -_-
They're just jealous. ;)
Ugh me too! I get comments about wanting attention or "not deciding yet". I'm wierd to straight people but not LGBT to lesbians. It dies sort of feel like there's a stigma. And I'm read as straight or gay depending on my relationship, bi seems to not
Not even occur to people.
Web user.I don't see a link.
Haha alynn beat me to it!
Very interesting :)
Big fat zero.
"The test failed to match you to a Kinsey Type profile. Either you answered some questions wrong, or you are a very unusual person."
A haha haha seriously?
alynn is too kinky for the kinsey!
Seriously. I took it twice this time, and have taken it several times in the past. I always get that response.
That's fascinating. I wonder what makes you so "unusual".
Going by the question asked...it may be confusing to the test that I find women attractive, and wouldn't mind one in an orgy, but don't have a desire to have sex with another woman.
That's my hunch anyway.
Hm. makes sense to me. but I don't find that unusual. it makes sense to me!
Maybe the test questions just need to be updated or expanded.
I agree. an expansion or clarification on the question could be good.
I always get that result too. In college I found it odd, but now I know it's just me.
That's a good perspective. :)
I'm a zero. Sometimes you feel like a naught (or a zip, nada, zilch, diddly-squat), sometimes you don't.
I'm a 0, exclusively heterosexual.
I'm a 3. Equally homosexual and heterosexual.
