Do high school relationships last?
They aren't a waste, but they don't last. I don't think they should last (yes, there are obviously exceptions, so please don't tell me stories about high school sweethearts who were married for ten million years).
We change so much as teens and
...adulthood, and later on in our twenties. While there may be a few string threads, for the most part what u wanted and desired as a teen is vastly different run what I want now. It actually scares me a little to think of the consequences if I had
...married someone from high school.
Some do; most don't. I don't see them as a "waste of time" at all, though.
Most don't last, but I know a few that have and they are extraordinarily happy marriages.
Mine was not... We are engaged now. However, I think that for the majority, they are a waste of time.
My parents started dating in 10th grade, got married in college, and then had me, so I wouldn't be around if it was always a waste of time.
Some do, but most don't. I wouldn't say it's a waste of time at all, though. It's a learning experience, through and through.
Couldn't agree more
though I'm glad nothing from high school lasted.
You two are adorable. ;D
