3 mounties were killed in June by a Christian that expressed radical conservative views. This received no international coverage. Is it possible that the international community emphasizes certain news stories to further their own agenda?
Of course it's "possible".
It's terrorism when Muslims do it because the people who have oil in the Middle East are Muslims. It's not terrorism when far-right Christians do it because those in power are far-right Christians.
It is worth it to consider that killings in the name of conservative Christian values are not commonplace today, so this individual's mental state is more likely to be the cause of their actions, not their religious beliefs. If Christians were
Frequently killing innocent civilians in the name of their religion then it is more likely the fault lies in the belief system rather than a single mentally unwell individual.
Christianity is just as violent as Islam. The reason why Christians are less violent is because Christianity is older. Islam is going through the same phase that Christianity went through a few centuries ago.
I don't know enough about theology to argue one way or another about the history of violence in Christianity, I'm just referring to the fact that a single mentally unwell individual does not speak for an entire religion, and that religion can't
really be fairly judged by the actions of that individual.
