Softball from 5-7, speed skating through middle and early high, then roller derby in my late 20s. :-) Wonderful experiences!
It's hard to find sports for kids under 5..But my oldest daughter is 3 very advanced and does very well and enjoys the activities she decides to do.
My youngest started gymnastics when she was 3 and has absolutely loved it. It has been wonderful for her core body strength & coordination. She is still going I've noticed that the accomplishments (CARTWHEEL!) have done wonders for her self esteem.
She is very timid, so the gym has become a wonderful outlet for her. :-)
