Inspired by GeorgeC: Because you are not "Black" means you do not understand the Black Community, and it's needs or wants? Do you Mostly Agree or Mostly Disagree?
This is just a liberal trick.
If they can get you to believe you don't understand what a particular group needs, then you give up any right to refuse to give them what they ask for.
The same thing can be said the other direction as well. It is false! The human condition is universal. Those who are kind, loving and understanding care for each other. Color, ethnicity, religion, etc. are not a factor in that setting.
That's funny, I get accused of racism often. I have two black uncles, a vit
A Vietnamese uncle, an Indian aunt. Married to a Syrian. Amusing.
I, as a human being, understand what human beings need and, mostly, what they want.
I have cousins who are half black half white. They believe that the reason why blacks are held back and misunderstood is they don't try to better there lives and there neighborhoods. Which makes sense.
I think it's more like I'm not black so I don't care.
Agree and I'm comfortable with it
Psychological principles apply to all people. We have needs and deep down they're mostly the same
Which black community. They are not all the same.
According to this logic, you can't understand why mass murderers murder unless you too are one, therefore we shouldn't punish them.
Yeah, clearly that's exactly like it. Except mass murder is illegal and is always punishable. Are you arguing being black is punishable? You're logic is impenetrable, unfortunately.
Obviously, mass murder shouldn't be punishable anyways. And this question was about the 'black community', which would be a group that meaningfully segregates themselves from interracial society. Just because someone's black doesnt mean they have to-
-succumb to the expectations of the 'black community'. A black person should be able to be who ever he wants to be, surround himself with who he desires, and not have to try to be 'black enough'. Black is just a tone of pigmentation, not the reason-
- That blacks should have to act a certain way. Being in the 'black community' is, in my eyes, a choice.
Hahahaha! Oh boy, really got under your skin, didn't I? By the way, could you please define the "black community"? I'd love to know what that means. Also, feel free to define the white community, Asian community, or any other divisive group, please.
The white community or more accurately, 'white culture', is mainstream American culture. **dont trip this isn't a racist, bigoted, or a weird white ppl suck I'm white libtard statement. It's reality.not good or bad. ***
Mainstream meaning top 40, network television, watered down, mass marketed, in your face, tired of this lame commercial type stuff
No group holds back the black community more than blacks themselves.
This ^^^ is 100% true!
Who is the black community, exactly?
Black people in general. The comment that you hear from some about other black people "not being black enough". It's awful thought. Race will always be an issue if they have people who think this way,
That answer went tangential. So, is Bill Cosby a member of the black community? Neil Degrasse-Tyson? Al Roker? My black boss?
That's easy George. It's where black people live. nothing to do with economics. Then are also communities where whites live. And I know in Chinatown they have a lot of Asians.
Cosby would probably not be considered so, they would say he is too white
So my condo building is the black community? My investment banker neighbor is black and he lives here, so I guess this is the black community?
First off, the word 'culture' should be used in place of 'community.' Community sounds like a single geographic location, or a club for people with like-minded interests. Makes no sense with the crap y'all are discussing. 2nd,
...wth are y'all talking about Cosby's too white? Al Sharpton blah blah blah? Who gives a ****. He's just another ah*** on cable news TV. Plz realize most these comments are dorky white repeat what u see on tv nonsense.
Just putting into comments what some famous black people have been saying and talking about recently
Why do you assume one or two famous black people speak for all blacks? When famous white people say stupid things do you assume they speak for all whites? That makes no sense.
All said like really white people.
Lol. You don't have to be black to understand what it's like to be black. Nice liberal gibberish.
Not saying they speak for all, they said that's the way it is within a lot of the black community. Do you not watch the news?
Race baiters like Jackson and Sharpton think they speak for black people.
I was talking more about sports news
Those kinds of statements are merely attempts to evade judgment.
Disagree. We all have human needs.
Agree. The so-called black community has segregated itself from the collective. Indians, Chinese, Vietnamese, Africans, etc. all find success in joining the collective. The black community seems to relish separation as a badge of self-aggrandizement.
This is accurate when referring to the leadership they stand behind. This "power through racism and race hustling" tactic used by Al Sharpton and the other race baiting cronies. When you have a man they feel they can relate to, such as Barack Obama,
Campaigning directly to them on "Hope", they tend to become stuck in this realm where everything is owed to them on a silver platter.
Instead of hope and change, the get instead lies and rhetoric.
That's certainly touching the surface, but this attitude has been prevalent far longer than Al or Barak. I've seen the NAACP call fellow brothers "Uncle Tom." Any black that doesn't subscribe to the "black" philosophy is shunned than bolstered.
For instance, why does the President "act black" when in the presence of a black community? We've even seen it from Hillary. This further ingrains the separate yet unequal ideology.
Oh I agree 100% , Rev. William Barber referred to Tim Scott as an "Uncle Tom", on more than one occasion. I believe he is the director of the NAACP
Apparently is the President of the North Carolina NAACP
as worded, I think I may agree. if you change "do" to "can," then I disagree completely. but, not being a part of that community, I don't inherently know which issues are the most pertinent. that doesn't mean that I can't think it through, though.
People are people and the values that benefit one race benefit are the same values that benefit others races also. It is time to stop the liberal racism that holds races to different standards.

Typical liberal racism. If George's statement was reversed as such,"Gotta love all the posts from black folks about how the white community feels and thinks. Real insightful." The liberals would be crying racism.
Go ahead and find posts with blacks giving advice to the "white community".
Here is a quote from a black man, "History is not going to be kind to liberals. With their mindless programs, they've managed to do to Black Americans what slavery,Reconstruction, and rank racism found impossible: destroy their family and work ethic.”
Well that didn't answer my question, but thanks for the anecdotal quote.
Buh bye Nemacyst! Buh bye! Bye! Bye! Tuck yer tail and run, typical ;)
How'd that work out for ya?
George, I've been reading these polls. It doesn't matter what race you are, you're an a$$hat. I don't think you know that so I'm letting you know.
Another fan, I win!
