Based on what you've seen of me so far, am I more liberal or conservative than you? (You can ask me my stance on anything you don't know in the comments)
I agree with everything you say, except I wouldn't drop welfare until someone actually finds work (provided they are looking for work), and I would give it to mothers with children at home who don't have another source of childcare.
I'm pro death penalty and guns. I also side with conservatives on welfare a little. There should be welfare (help) for people who lost their job, are struggling to get by, need food, etc. But it shouldn't be long term
I have never seen you swear, use vile language or hatefully put any one down, and your polls and comments are friendly and helpful, I like that. I see you as a good guy leaning conservative, but not as far as me.
Persuasion by a thoughtful approach, vs being explosive, hate filled, and obnoxious all the time. I consider conservatism to be more thoughtful and rational than liberalism.
Im not sure but I always considered you moderately liberal. It seems you often support liberal policies, but are not afraid to espouse more conservative ideas. If that is the case you are more liberal than I am as I consider myself center-right.
I think that's a pretty good analysis. Socially, I definitely side more with liberals, but there's a few things I strongly side with conservatives on too. Fiscally, i'd say I'm more moderate - liberal but there's a few fiscal things I simply don't
Have an opinion on because I haven't done enough research. I'm a full time student, don't work (because I don't need to), so right now social policies are more important to me
I'm not too sure. I think you and I are pretty much the same if I remember right. My brains not young and I'm tired right now. I know I think were both for equity if I remember right
Not sure. Are you for Big Govt or smaller govt? Stances on Gay Marriage, Abortion, legalizing drugs, raise taxes or lower taxes, raise or cut govt spending, prefer States' Rights over Fed Rights?
-big
-pro gay marriage
-pro choice
-legalize marijuana, keep the rest illegal without such harsh penalties though
-leave them the same
-cut
-federal law should trump state law
Should more money be spent on education? And less on defense? Pro choice? Gay marriage? Should the highest earners pay more in taxes than they currently do? What should the minimum wage be?
