Based on what you've seen of me so far, am I more liberal or conservative than you? (You can ask me my stance on anything you don't know in the comments)
Well I haven't seen your views on many issues so I'm going to assume you are more conservative than me, as my views are generally liberal.
I've answered a lot of questions below stating my views
From what I know, we seem to see eye to eye on a lot of things. Do YOU think you are more liberal or conservative that ME?
I honestly don't know. I haven't seen you talk a whole lot about political stuff
Since we agree on over 69.4% ;-) liberal
Wow. That's one of the higher agreement percentages I've seen. Mine says 69.8%
I agree with everything you say, except I wouldn't drop welfare until someone actually finds work (provided they are looking for work), and I would give it to mothers with children at home who don't have another source of childcare.
You're more conservative. Most people are, so this isn't saying much.
I think everyone is more conservative than me :-)
Colo- I know you are pro choice as am I, but is there a number of months into the pregnancy you draw the line?
Legal through the end of the second trimester. Illegal in the third
You are more conservative than me. Being for executions is a huge drain on your liberal-o-meter.
Liberal far more than conservative. I don't think I've ever seen you say anything conservative, actually.
I'm pro death penalty and guns. I also side with conservatives on welfare a little. There should be welfare (help) for people who lost their job, are struggling to get by, need food, etc. But it shouldn't be long term
Nice! I didn't know you had that in you. You should let that side out more.
I agree with swervin!! Very nice!!
I didn't know that about you.
Neither did I!
I have never seen you swear, use vile language or hatefully put any one down, and your polls and comments are friendly and helpful, I like that. I see you as a good guy leaning conservative, but not as far as me.
What does any of this have to do with political leanings...?
Persuasion by a thoughtful approach, vs being explosive, hate filled, and obnoxious all the time. I consider conservatism to be more thoughtful and rational than liberalism.
Do you enjoy being wrong?
Im not sure but I always considered you moderately liberal. It seems you often support liberal policies, but are not afraid to espouse more conservative ideas. If that is the case you are more liberal than I am as I consider myself center-right.
I think that's a pretty good analysis. Socially, I definitely side more with liberals, but there's a few things I strongly side with conservatives on too. Fiscally, i'd say I'm more moderate - liberal but there's a few fiscal things I simply don't
Have an opinion on because I haven't done enough research. I'm a full time student, don't work (because I don't need to), so right now social policies are more important to me
I'm not too sure. I think you and I are pretty much the same if I remember right. My brains not young and I'm tired right now. I know I think were both for equity if I remember right
Not sure. Are you for Big Govt or smaller govt? Stances on Gay Marriage, Abortion, legalizing drugs, raise taxes or lower taxes, raise or cut govt spending, prefer States' Rights over Fed Rights?
-pro gay marriage
-legalize marijuana, keep the rest illegal without such harsh penalties though
-leave them the same
-federal law should trump state law
There are not many people who are more conservative than me.
Not sure if I'm more conservative, but certainly AS conservative. :)
Fair point! We practically agree on everything.
I can't think of anything we don't agree on politically. Hmmmm...trying to think of anything...
Should more money be spent on education? And less on defense? Pro choice? Gay marriage? Should the highest earners pay more in taxes than they currently do? What should the minimum wage be?
-yes, more on education, less on defense
-pro gay marriage
-probably the same, but not less. Close the loopholes
Ok thats like the textbook liberal responses on all of those, so...
Haha. You just happened to ask questions I side with liberals on. But I would definitely consider myself more on the left of the spectrum
Can you cite a common political issue you side with the "right" on?
Read my response to Swervin (at the top). Guns, death penalty, and partially on welfare
What is your opinion of the ACA and the health care industry in general in America?
We should have universal healthcare
Thanks, that's all I need to know.
