If your parents are wealthy business owners, would you rather have a formal high school or collegiate education and be relatively ignorant of the business, or have extensive knowledge of the business but with no high school diploma?

Education. I'm don't think i'd like running a business my whole life and what if the business fails?

Obviously both is best but you would learn way more actually running the business than you will in school.

You'd learn more with business.

If I'm interested in taking over the family business, I want to know everything about how it runs and forgo the education.
If the business is something I'm not interested in, like say, cars, I'd get the education. :)

I'd rather have an education. That doesn't mean I couldn't also learn the family business, but I might want to do something entirely different with my own life. But in either case, I'd want some education beyond high school.

Depends on the business. I had no interest in my father's business.
