Dignity Debate 2: Do you think it's your right to leave this world on your terms (choosing exactly when and/or how you will die) or would you rather be unaware of the how, when, where, why and die naturally?
Of course I'd love to have my terms
My terms, but my terms would be naturally if I was still lucid, in control of my body, and not in intractable pain. If I ever reach a point where I qualify to use our death with dignity law, I probably will.
I want a glorious death
Of course I have the right to choose when I want to end my life and how I want to die.
Knowing is certainly not a "right."
Oh wait, I didn't realize, is this question is about the death with dignity laws? If yes, I absolutely believe people should be able to choose if they want to go before nature takes its course. Why should people be forced to suffer?
I don't think the options are mutually exclusive. Sure, I think I have the right to die on my own terms, but I'd prefer to let nature take its course.
I forgot to include the article link connected to these polls!
