The three lands with major Ebola outbreaks have a combined pop of about 20M. They are incredibly poor countries with little modern technology. If Ebola spread easily, wouldn't we see millions of infections instead of the aprox 9K currently reported?

I haven't seen any Republicans trying to use it to their advantage unless you're talking about our criticism of the handling of the situation... However, I think it's disappointing that so many of us are blowing Ebola out of proportion.

Low end at 2.0. That is the same as the Spanish Flu, but influenza is much much much more contagious. Hearing folks say we're going to go from 9K cases at the end of Sept o 1.4M in 60 days is nuts! My prediction in those countries is 25K max.
