Every. Single. Morning. My cat thinks that she is starving to death.

Every day. One has medical issues and needs special food, which makes the other one throw up. I keep regular dry-food in my nightstand so I can easily feed her at 5am. Beats having to get out of bed to clean up sick.

I've had pets in the past that have woken me up. That's before we gave the dog and the pig their own room -- at the opposite end of the house. It's huge & they only have to stay in there at night & when we leave. So, no waking me up anymore.

That's awesome, do they get along otherwise?

Yes. The pig and dog play and chase each other around the house and through the yard.

I think the question is, is there ever a morning your pet doesn't wake you up.

Mornings are a lot like this video (Simon's Cat - Cat Man Do)

I'm awakened every morning by a cat. Our kitten Tidbit starts chewing on me when she is hungry. Rarely, the dog wakes me up, but she always greets me with a wagging tail and kisses, and what appears to be a smile.

One of my cats usually wakes me up with her paws on any exposed skin (face, arms, hands, whatever) and as soon as my eyes open she starts to purr. I like to think she's happy to see me but know she's looking for breakfast. ;)

I think my wife wants to kill our cat because we are being woken up.

Yes! I'm a back sleeper so mine usually stands or lays on my chest and gently paws at my face.

LOL
If we sleep 10 minutes past our regular time they are letting us know.

Cat link at top of page, dog link at bottom of page. Pretty funny.
