ISIS has announced that schools under their control will no longer teach evolution. They have instead chose to teach only creationism. Do you believe this will garner respect from fundamentalist Christians?

I'm Catholic, and I believe in both Creationism and evolution. I've been taught that it is okay to believe both, so long as you believe that God started it all.

Not at all. We do believe God CREATED everything. We do not believe in the false religion of ISLAM.

Both books are based on the Old Testament (The Jewish bible basically) and they're the same type of creationism.

That's classic coming from an atheist.

My religion has nothing to do with it. My education does.

Of course not! Why would anyone support ISIS for anything?

I'm not saying support, I was saying gaining respect as it would be a shared value between the two. :P

Dude come on. I have had some good discussions with you but time after time you surprise me with your polls. Of course this won't give them any respect, to me as a Christian my initial reaction was surprise they taught it to start with

Why is it surprising? I'm just wondering if it will as even today many people where I live hate schools teaching evolution.

I don't know why it would.
I don't know of any fundamentalist Christian groups in the US that have violently taken over any elementary schools and changed the curriculum.

The point was banning evolution not violence.

Though if you'd like to say there was no southern groups violently attacking schools that taught evolution in the 1960s... Well... I have news for you. ISIS didn't even attack the children.

People also didn't want black and white children to intermingle in school in the 60's. Times have changed. No one that I know of is actively trying to ban the teaching of evolution.

Well you're not in the Bible Belt. :/

More than likely the NSA knows he's joking. I've told cowboy several times I was joining ISIS and no one ever came to my door. I just did it because cowboy takes it dead serious when you say that. Most people working for the NSA know better.

No. I get the sarcasm. I just don't get this perception by cons that I like Obama. Sure, I think he was a better president than Reagan and Bush (who wasn't), but I don't think he is a particularly good president. Pretty mediocre, actually.
