Mexican Federal Police have essentially removed municipal police forces in 13 cities, mostly in Guerrero state, pending investigation of corruption. Have you been keeping up with the story coming from Iguala, Guerrero?
Haven't been, but will now!!!
It really deserves more attention
Damn. I've been wallowing in the home-improvement projects, still trying to get back on to SOH. As a result I've also been in a somewhat media blackout. And, honestly, enjoying it.
Definitely depressing. Great to see you on here!
I've literally carved out an hour and a half to be here today. Spent an hour answering polls, and half checking comments. I have a bunch or rooms to paint in the house, and of course that's when my clients want me to do a bunch of work for them.
Great to see you too. And thanks for the lead on the story. I always appreciate your radar - definitely puck up on what should be in everyone's awareness.
Thanks again. Maybe see ya tomorrow.
Wow, good luck with all that!
definitely! We couldn't go without your great perspective.
No, if you're suicidal go ahead, or wait till investigation over. I have no sympathy.
The mayor was paid by the cartel to have the police "arrest" them (and take them to the cartel, not the police station because, corruption). The reports coming in are that the police (cartel hit men) burned them alive.
So, once again, I hope you're kidding. It's Peña-Nieto's first trial. What do you do when an entire state's politicians are being paid off?
Oh, gee, so simple! Why didn't they think of that!?
Wow, you people!
Police arrested protestors. Protestors disappeared. Feared dead.
Tip: Don't Protest !
You're kidding, right?
