After 23 years of life I was finally stung by a hornet. Have you ever been stung by a bee, wasp, hornet, etc.?
Yeah, just a week ago I was stung by a yellow jacket while mowing the overgrown lawn.
I still have the scar from when I was stung/bit by a hornet/wasp. Don't know which it was but omg it was painful. Stung by maybe 2 bees as a child. Once on the bottom of my foot.
Bees: quite a few times as a child. Bumblebees: once, at least. That's when I found out I was allergic to some stinging insects. Yellow jackets: a few times.
Fun fact about me: I used to have 2 beehives. I never got stung once.
Probably in the early 50s the first time.
Not a hornet but wasp, bee, bumblebee (don't believe the myth I heard bumblebees can't sting, they can). It was painful but I'm not allergic.
I was lying in bed, mind you, under the covers to boot, and felt a sharp stinging pain on my stomach. Moments later, a hornet is crawling up my arm towards my shoulder. So, I fling it off and as it turns out, there were two hornets. WERE. Bastards.
Nice prof pic, cute cat! I accidentally stepped on a bee one time
Thanks. That's my friends cat. When I stayed with him over the summer I was just lying around the apartment and Edgar decided I was a good place to sleep.
Here I am an hour and a half later, remembering that I meant to add the friend I was staying with also stepped on a bee once, as well as clapping one to death.
