Is the Republican Party really for small government?
Depends on which republicans we are talking about: the voters, or the people that that they are voting for.
Yes, Republicans favor a small government with limited powers that serves primarily to defend civil rights, civil liberties, and national security.
They favor a small government with limited powers when they're a minority. When they're in power.... Not so much
I won't deny the Republican Party, like any political party, will occasionally capitalize on their authority to consolidate power, but such is the nature of politics. Albeit they will cut areas not related to the subjects I mentioned.
However democrats are for an ever larger socialist government.
Yeah lip, that's why Goldman Sachs and Wall Street donates to them; they know democrats will seize their companies... lol
Yeah that's why their all in bed with Obama and his ilk.
Democrats all the time: They're so extreme! They're the nation's anarchists!
Now: Yeah, they want big Government! It's not like we do or anything.
But as for my opinion, I don't believe most of the Republican Party is for small government, which is heartbreaking to see because they used to truly be.
Not when they raise the debt ceiling.
Not when they follow women into the doctor's office
Not when they follow me into my bedroom
Not when they demand massive expensive new voting regulations, welfare drug testing, etc.
Sorry, just noticed you'd missed a few
Not when they create the department of homeland security.
1. I dispute
2. You can have as much consensual sex as you want.
3. What? I expected 1 and 2, but voter ID and welfare testing....
There's nothing to dispute.
I honestly don't know what you were alluding to, but okay...
Do I really need to elaborate my position?
Not in any way, shape, or form.
