Yea. I can't believe how much money we've spent pursuing this failed drug policy in regards to marijuana. Do we really want the gov't stopping people from using a drug that less dangerous than alcohol? Such a waste of money when it could be source

I am sorry to say that I will be resigning my position as Speaker of the Virtual Congress. Between the Campaign, Schoolwork, and other Mandated activities I cannot best serve this congress. I will be holding a special election to serve the remainder

If the crime is unjust the law should stay on the books lol. Why would you make legal an unjust act??

krayzewolf New Hampshire
10/22/14 1:07 pm

LOL, I meant unjust laws should be repealed. On this, there is no justification to incarcerate people over a plant that has yet to kill one single human through out our recorded history.

MJSeals J.D.
10/22/14 1:09 pm

Kray have you ever lived in an area surrounded by pot heads?

Better than being surrounded by alcoholics.

10/22/14 1:12 pm

Debatable. Also it has killed people. You don't have to OD on a drug for it to kill u.

krayzewolf New Hampshire

LOL. Peanuts have killed more people this year alone than pot has killed anyone ever. ;)

The debate ended a while ago. Some people just want to control others.

krayzewolf New Hampshire
10/22/14 1:20 pm

Cheese burgers, caffeinated drinks, are more dangerous than pot. Should these be banned as well?

MJSeals J.D.
10/22/14 1:24 pm

Do any of those increase heart attack risk, psychosis, depression, anxiety, as well as those above

krayzewolf New Hampshire
10/22/14 1:26 pm

Um, ya. LOL. Because fatty foods have never lead to obesity and Healy problems.

MJSeals J.D.
10/22/14 1:29 pm

You can fix obesity. You can't fix many of the mental problems caused by weed. Young person eats a ton for McDonalds gets fat stops works out effects go away. Someone smokes, stops effects stay with them and can get worse.

krayzewolf New Hampshire
10/22/14 1:29 pm

If your only argument is health, I would focus more on thing that actually kill people over things that don't.

krayzewolf New Hampshire
10/22/14 1:29 pm

So basically you want to dictate how others chose to live their lives?

MJSeals J.D.
10/22/14 1:30 pm

There is a LOT more to health than just death. Like say…those who survive but can't function and end up on public money due to psychosis, those who cause harm to others etc.

krayzewolf New Hampshire
10/22/14 1:32 pm

Besides can you cite a study on the negative health effects on adults from pot?

No?

Weird how that works. ;)

MJSeals J.D.
10/22/14 1:32 pm

I don't want to get hurt or forced to pay because someone else screwed up. I looking out for my interest. If you truly lived next to pot heads you know what I mean (ps I live next to alcoholics AND pot heads). Ever see someone who couldn't handle…

krayzewolf New Hampshire
10/22/14 1:33 pm

If you want to keep pot out of hands of kids, that's great. Right there with ya. But if you want to throw an adult in jail because they smoke a joint after work, you are what's wrong with society. ;)

MJSeals J.D.
10/22/14 1:36 pm

So sources cited interesting.

Facts? What are those. They don't mean anything, right?

MJSeals J.D.
10/22/14 1:37 pm

What's wrong with society is the pot head who cannot contribute because he or she wanted to "have fun in college" FACTS! Learn them then get back to me.

krayzewolf New Hampshire
10/22/14 1:41 pm

LOL, you don't want facts. You want to control others. ;)

krayzewolf New Hampshire
10/22/14 1:44 pm

I mean seriously. How does locking up adults over pot good for society? How is that a good thing?

MJSeals J.D.
10/22/14 1:46 pm

I just voted facts proving validity in my argument. Now you are playing emotion an admission of defeat and a last ditch effort. People who have smoked weed can (and have on a personal level) hurt people.

krayzewolf New Hampshire
10/22/14 2:13 pm

Putting adults in cages over this plant is the definition of insanity. If you don't like it don't use it, but don't criminalize something simply because you don't like it.

MJSeals J.D.
10/22/14 2:50 pm

Just because an unrest drug (weed is illegal to study in 48 states) every study done so far has proven serious side affects you clearly ignored the sources I posted. The third sources also should have been read first. Weed is classified

MJSeals J.D.
10/22/14 2:53 pm

Is classified in a category of drugs that cannot be medically studied. His "change in opinion" is to have it open TO BE studied not legalized for Personal use. If you don't read my sources, at least read your own. Also I'm fine with Charlottes web.

MJSeals J.D.
10/22/14 2:55 pm

ANNNDDD the fact that weed cannot be studied (technically it can in Washington and Colorado by state law not federal) debunks your second article. Aspirin is used everyday by billions. Weed is not. Aspirin is VERY well know, weed is not. That would…

MJSeals J.D.
10/22/14 2:55 pm

Be an "Ignorance is Bliss" article. So again I say FACT! What are they good for? To you? Absolutely nothing.

krayzewolf New Hampshire
10/22/14 2:57 pm

Show me a study that proves pot is dangerous to adults, not teens, but actual adults. I'll wait. :)

MJSeals J.D.
10/22/14 3:02 pm

You're an idiot. The effects I have listed effect all people. Just because you are 20 doesn't weed doesn't say "damn I can effect him anymore" read my articles next time.

krayzewolf New Hampshire
10/22/14 3:31 pm

Thanks for name calling. I did read your sources BTW. They focus on adolescent brain development and addiction. And heavily loaded with should, could and may cause, not will cause. Besides I'm not advocating this for everyone, just adults.

krayzewolf New Hampshire
10/22/14 3:31 pm

If we end the war on pot we have a way better chance to keep it away from kids as stores will ID for purchases where as dealers do not care and will sell to anyone, plus they will most likely have worse things like heroin or meth.

krayzewolf New Hampshire
10/22/14 3:33 pm

I see this as two choices. Either continue what we are doing, where enforcement is more dangerous than the drug itself, or legalize and regulate and let adults choose for themselves.

Nay for now, this is legal in Co and Wa, so in a few years if legalization is working well, we should definitely revisit this issue

I vote to approve of this bill. The war on drugs is about as successful as the prohibition of alcohol and needs to come to an end. Instead of being a cost, a great cost that is, to the government it can be profitable through it's taxation
