I was very light blonde when I was young, now it's darker but I color it every once in a while.

Having blonde hair or red hair is a recessive gene. Therefore if someone on both of your parents sides don't have it it is impossible to get. Then you will simply have brown or black hair. Lucky me I am a red head!

Champaign colored as a kid and sunny blonde now.
Nothing drab here.

My friends tell blonde jokes all the time, point to me, and say, "exhibit A." It's slightly (ok, extremely) degrading, but when you're smart you get to yell "disproven, exhibit A" and point to yourself after every joke :)

I was naturally blonde when I was really young but it darkened really fast. So I fixed it when I got old enough. :)

Not a blonde, but I did have dirty blonde highlights in my hair as a teenager. I thought it was cute as a teen, but looking at it as an adult, WTF was I thinking?! It just want for me. I'm back to my natural hair color now. No highlights. Just me. :)

More grey than anything else. Started coloring mine at 16 yrs. old. Stopped about a year ago. The rest of my ends are getting cut off today!

Yep, natural blonde. Dirty-blonde as a kid, turned strawberry-blonde as I grew older. Now I'm nearly red, but I still call is strawberry.

Naturally blonde with brown eyes. Though I might dye it red because I prefer it.

Blonde jokes suck, especially when you are intelligent and people judge you :/

I have naturally dirty blonde hair that's blonde in the summer and a light brown-ish colour in the winter. It depends on the season.

@Mable : the Germans use it - "blue-eyed" means naive.

Sometimes I wonder if it is because blonde hair and blue eyes are stereotypically considered most attractive, so everyone else called those people stupid out if envy.

HQ ought to fix the question. "Blond" is the adjective they're looking for, as in "blond hair." The term "blonde" refers to a female with blond hair. So the question should read "Are you blond?" If it was changed to "Are you a blonde?" the fellas would have to answer no.

I was a blonde all summer as a kid but I figure that doesn't count. The winter after puberty I turned medium brown like every winter but the following spring and summer when I sh/would have gone blonde, I didn't and haven't since, except highlights in a box. :)

My mom had light brown hair, but as she grayed, her hairdresser recommended blond highlights rather than coloring the gray. It looked better that way.
