Proud democrat but I hate this kinda stuff, when we r so passive that we tolerate intolerance. It should be 99% all around. Yes black people have a better reason to vote for a black president because he was 1st 2 break the glass ceiling. BUT CHOOSING THE LEADER OF THE FREE WORLD ON RACE IS IGNORANT

Are you voting for him *only* because he's black? I'm not sure about racist, but that's irresponsible voting for the most part. Check out policies and see how they work for you.

You mean like Clinton who used an accounting trick and borrowed against social security to balance the budget with no way to pay it back? Nice try but we see right through it.

That's not racist. That is just like voting for someone because she's a woman or voting for someone because they are catholic. Saying that voting for someone who is black is racist is showing bigotry and disconnection to reality and how it feels to be a minority

It's not racist because white presidents put us in debt.
P.S. I'm white.

There's a difference between voting for someone because you refuse to vote for their opponent due to their race or ethnicity, and voting for someone because you feel you are underrepresented and want to do what you can to even things out.

Meaning that all racism is discrimination. But it is not interchangeable the other way as not all discrimination is racist.

Not all racism has negative effects. All the people who vote for Obama because he's black are racist. That's a fact, not a matter of opinion. Any action, good or bad, that is based solely on color or ethnicity is racist.

It would be sexist to vote for her because she was a woman. You should vote on the candidate you most agree with, regardless of their gender or skin color.

No. Is it sexist to vote for a girl president just because she will be the first?

Is it racist to vote against Romney or Johnson because they're white? (The answer is yes.)

If it's racist to vote for Romney or Johnson because they're white, then it's racist to vote for Obama because he's black.

How about that? In America, racism got a Black man elected President.

Way a country.

Do you even know what racism actually means?

There are no human "races". Any variance is on the phenotype genes and does not denote race.

The definite of racist is the belief that there is more than one human race!

If the ONLY reason they vote for him is bc he's black then they are not only racist... they are also dead wrong!

NEWSFLASH: Barack Obama is NOT black, he's biracial. We still haven't had a black president... We have a biracial prez who was raised by old white folk. Sorry y'all, black pass=revoked.

Voting for anyone based on the color of their skin and not the content of their character is the height of racism.

If you vote for Obama simply because he's black, that means you're not voting for Romney because he's white.

That my friends is racism, how can you see it any other way?

And the last time a black made it as far as Barry? Can't think of one, closest was Jesse Jackson back in the day or Rev Sharpton.
