Proud democrat but I hate this kinda stuff, when we r so passive that we tolerate intolerance. It should be 99% all around. Yes black people have a better reason to vote for a black president because he was 1st 2 break the glass ceiling. BUT CHOOSING THE LEADER OF THE FREE WORLD ON RACE IS IGNORANT

Are you voting for him *only* because he's black? I'm not sure about racist, but that's irresponsible voting for the most part. Check out policies and see how they work for you.

That's not racist. That is just like voting for someone because she's a woman or voting for someone because they are catholic. Saying that voting for someone who is black is racist is showing bigotry and disconnection to reality and how it feels to be a minority

There's a difference between voting for someone because you refuse to vote for their opponent due to their race or ethnicity, and voting for someone because you feel you are underrepresented and want to do what you can to even things out.

Not all racism has negative effects. All the people who vote for Obama because he's black are racist. That's a fact, not a matter of opinion. Any action, good or bad, that is based solely on color or ethnicity is racist.

It would be sexist to vote for her because she was a woman. You should vote on the candidate you most agree with, regardless of their gender or skin color.

How about that? In America, racism got a Black man elected President.
Way a country.

If the ONLY reason they vote for him is bc he's black then they are not only racist... they are also dead wrong!
NEWSFLASH: Barack Obama is NOT black, he's biracial. We still haven't had a black president... We have a biracial prez who was raised by old white folk. Sorry y'all, black pass=revoked.

Voting for anyone based on the color of their skin and not the content of their character is the height of racism.

If you vote for Obama simply because he's black, that means you're not voting for Romney because he's white.
That my friends is racism, how can you see it any other way?

KaRn, where are you getting your definition of racism? Merriam-Webster Dictionary: 1 : a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race

...and I say this as an Obama supporter. I think it's good for the country that we've now had a black president. But to vote for OR against someone due to their color is a form of racism.

And the last time a black made it as far as Barry? Can't think of one, closest was Jesse Jackson back in the day or Rev Sharpton.
