Governor Rick Perry (R-TX) increased the Texas State Debt from $13.4 billion in 2001 to $37.8 billion in 2011. He created the Texas Enterprise Fund that has given $435 million dollar grants to businesses. Texas grew to be #1 for uninsured at 26%.
