Did you feel any different on your 18th birthday?
Your boy friend might if he's over 18.
I won't be able to vote until I turn 22, just because of when my Birthday is.
I hope I will
I haven't had it yet. Can't tell you.
turning 18 is not just about being able to vote. it's about becoming an adult all around! well, except for legal alcohol consumption and being able to rent a car..
I'll let you know in a couple of days haha
Not 18 yet...
Just kidding! LMAO.
There was a noticeable tingling in my toes. It was then that I realized my super powers...
Not that I remember, but it was 3 months short of 50 years ago. I had just started my 1st year of college so there was lots of new stuff going on. Voting wasn't one of them, though - the voting age was 21 until 1971.
I was excited for cigarettes and strip clubs but other than that probably not.
I did, but it was because Timothy McVeigh bombed Oklahoma City that day. I didn't know how to deal with that notion.
I was excited that I could vite though. :)
Not 18 yet, but I probably won't feel anymore grown on that day, birthdays have never had that effect on me. Happy birthday by the way!
I always hated when people said that until my 18th, but I actually did that day. I think it had more to do with what I was doing than my actual age though
Not that I recall. But that was a good while ago
No, not at all.
Age is so artificial.
Would this happen to be inspired by your day today? (:
It is! Today is gonna be really busy so I have to make sure I stay in bed until I absolutely have to get up
Happy birthday! (:
I hope you have a great day, despite its being busy.
Thanks Kyle! And most of it is stuff I chose to do, so its alright
You're very welcome. (:
Just don't get into too much trouble. ;) You can be charged as an adult now. :P
Haha, true. Not much trouble I can get into at a poetry slam though. Unless free speech gets removed while its going on, haha
Oh, you'd be surprised the amount of trouble one could get into, even in the most innocent of environments. (:
Having done poetry events in the past... Have fun! :)
