Have you ever watch or visited livestock being slaughtered for meat products?
I saw a video in class once, but that's it, thank goodness.
My high school year I worked full time on a cleaning crew at night. Guess what department I got to clean? The kill floor of a large packing house. I'd go in early and sometimes they would be running late. Saw it all.
Childhood memories. We got the cute little chicks and raised them up. End product a freezer full of chicken. Those who grew up on farms get the rest.
Yes. My step father used to bring home goats and pigs, hang them up side down and slaughter them on our porch. We used to open the oven and see a pig head or several goat heads baking. He even brought home bull heads and baked them in our oven.
I've seen some videos but never in person
I used to go to a poultry market that had kosher chickens and ducks. Slit their throats without touching a bone!
Jackie either they they kill them
CC- wait what?
And ruin my appetite ? No
PBS years ago showed the whole process of cattle and sheep being run through a slaughterhouse. My wife and I thought we would cringe in horror. It went so fast we had no emotion!
