I don't read them much but the few I have picked up were pretty good.

As a kid I wouldn't put them down, but now at 70 yrs old I have developed other interests!

CALCEN AND HOBBES! ;-P

It depends. Sometimes the lyrics catch me first. Sometimes it will be the beat or the melody or the mood of a song. I will eventually het around to learning the lyrics if I like it though.

skeptisys, I was about to say "Far Out!" but after doing a quick search I'm saying "Bummer, man!" They still don't have the money to make it.

Badbager, I agree. 60s and 70s had some amazing comics. Can't wait for the fabulous freak brothers movie!

Ok, I wasn't counting the comics in the paper. If those count, then yes. I have a few I read daily, get them in my inbox so I make sure not to miss them.
And if it was changed to "graphic novel", it'd be a yes... It's a more inclusive term.

Not really, but I love manga. They may seem the same, but they're different.

03/05/12 12:29 pm

Some of them. My 22yr old Son, on the other hand has been collecting them for over 12 years & is just now willing to part with SOME to help pay his tuition. :)

A great online comic is "Day By Day" if you like political commentary from both sides. It has wonderful artwork too

I also love the cat in "Get Fuzzy."

I was going to put "Does manga count?" but someone beat me to it. I'll assume is does so yes.

I don't particularly like them or dislike them.

The only comic books I ever really liked were the underground comics of the 60s and 70s. Robert Crumb was a sick and twisted genius. I became a sick and twisted genius wannabe. ;-)

03/04/12 10:24 pm

Watchmen. V for Vendetta. Batman.

03/04/12 8:31 pm

Linkara got me into comics and I've always been into manga...

03/04/12 8:29 pm

No, I'll watch most the movies but have zero use for the comic books.

Calvin and Hobbes. Own almost all of 'em. So funny.

Yes and I'm still pissed my mom threw out my Disney comics and Mad Magazines when I went away to college on the 60's.

DC, Marvel, Dark Horse... I could spend hours in a store and love when the Big Bang Theory discusses comic books. I'm a comic book nerd and can't wait to share my stash with my kids!

Yes, haters be gone. Where's he child in everyone? You do not need to be a current reader to like them like the inner child did
