I got a parking ticket, that's about it. I had to run in to get some lotion or shampoo or something and I couldn't find it. And when I came out I found a ticket. I couldn't get mad because the sign said no parking...

Came close, Got into argument with dog officer who came for an injured dog with a noose on a 15' poll. I was irate and gave him a bad time of which he called police. So a neighbor and I went to the station. I wouldn't apologize. Thank God for dad!

Not formally arrested and not charged. But gun to the back of my head, cuffs put on, brought to the station, and kept in a holding cell.

Yes; not close to as often as I should have been. Lucky me. Fortunately I learned young that judges are most lenient if people hire lawyers. Was always released within half a day, usually long before 9am arraignment. Thank God I sobered up...

Technically if you've ever had a speeding ticket you have been arrested and your license is bail.

Retired military here. Arrest in the military means "moral restraint". So, no cuffs or actual jail time. Was questioned, charged, and released. I was young,19, and dumb. I received an Article 15 - 2 weeks extra duty and a $250 fine. Lucky.

Technically, no...I wasn't charged with a crime. But I was cuffed (restrained) for my own protection and put on a 72-hour hold that ended up barely being 24 hours because I was a threat to myself.

I'm not proud of this, political. I was arrested on a DUI. I thought I was doin' good 'cuz I was ALMOST home and cars were FLYIN' by me, providing excellent 'cover'.
Come to find out the reason I was pulled over was for doin' 20MPH in a 55MPH! :-/

Nope. Only been in a situation with cops once; friends of mine were smoking weed on the roof of the mall (I was not), and security showed up and then the cops. They just scolded them and off we went.

No. Cited for obstruction once for leaving an accident scene. But the judge tossed it when I told him my reason
(I was naked and just wanted to get some clothes on before the cops arrived.)

The funny aftermath is that all of us worked at Domino's, & the local cops that would come in for free pizza gave us hell for YEARS & still told stories down at the station about 'the night those three naked boys climbed out of that jeep' Haha

Reminds me just a little of the time I got caught skinny dipping in a river. By a guy with a shotgun. I can relate very well to the "I knew we were in trouble, but just wanted my clothes!" part.
