With four cities left in the runnings to hold the GOP national convention in 2016, Kansas City is still in the race among Denver, Dallas, and Cleveland. Does Kansas City, MO stand a chance?
I pick Denver.
It would be funny to see it in Denver
Ersco, now you've inspired me to ask about Cleveland!
It looks like your wish came true! Congratulations on getting the RNC convention!
Terrible airport there.
Hopefully they drove here
K.C. is in the middle with a great convention center (Bartle Hall), plenty of hotel space, and the best airport in the country as a destination or departure point (it would suck as a hub). The only negative is really crappy weather year round.
It'd be nice considering I'm going to school near KC
Don't count KC out just yet. Remember, they were the first city to get Google Fiber, so they must have some very persuasive folks in the local government.
I hope they don't come to Denver, They've lost this state. Or they should come and we should have like a big marijuana rally outside lol
I WOULD LOVE IT TO BE IN DENVER
Can I go?
Nothing to be gained in Dallas, Denver (maybe), and even LeBron didn't want to stay in Cleveland.
They'll follow the money, so they may honor the Kochs. Likely Dallas, though.
Not a swing state, nor is it from the state that the GOP has a weird fetish for.
Who would willingly go to Cleveland?
I spent 16 hours prepping for the walk though yesterday. I think it'd be great if we got it.
I think it would be great if you got it too lol. Anywhere but here
If Cleveland doesn't get it, I'll root for you as my #2 choice.
Glad to see you beat out Dallas!
