Would you more, less, or equally likely to vote for a presidential candidate if you learned that he/she was a Christian?

So long as they aren't an extremist, though I'd be more willing to vote for members of certain denominations than others

Not a very religious person myself but if they don't let their beliefs get in the way of progress, I don't care who they believe in too much

As long as he or she didn't try to force their beliefs on the people I'm OK with it

Doesn't matter to me. Carter is a "Christian" and see what a pile of dung his administration was?

Why was everyone against Romney being president? Mormons are Christians too...

Yeah the vast majority of Christians would not agree with that.

Mormonism is spot on Christian, but let's not make this a theological debate

Catholics and Protestants come together on the idea that Mormon church isn't Christian. It takes a lot to make both of these groups to agree on religion ideals and thoughts.

Where in Christianity does it say that their god came from Kolob, Jesus and Satan were brothers, and Native Americans are really the list tribe of Israel?

LOL, not Christian.

Christians are those who believe in god. End of story :)

What a strange religion then if any wacky idea claims the same character names, then adds a new cast to the story, gets to become part of Christianity. LOL!

Equal, the title "Christian" has been distorted over time

Also I don't believe the technical details of religion matter, just basic right and wrong

Are you planning on running for President? Is that why you are asking all these?

Whether they are Christian or not would not matter.

I would be equally likely considering we have had a myriad of Christian presidents and they are members of my faith.

It'd be equal. I don't care what religion they are as long as it's not excessively violent.

Beat me to it. That's like learning the grass is green. Politicians who don't identify as Christian are far and few between. Identifying as Christian generally is a good idea in most American elections, even if you actually aren't.

Again, no change in my vote simply because of a belief as long as it doesn't impact how they run the country.

Interesting series of questions by the way.

It's hard to believe it wouldn't, though.
