Is the success of the movie making industry in Louisiana (mostly due to the 40% tax break on all things movie-production related) proof that trickle down economics works?

No. Its proof that people who make movies will go to where they are cheapest to make. This in no way shows evidencene of anything trickling down.

I will find a link, but somewhere around 14,000 jobs have been created. So tax breaks do promote economic growth. Who knew!
